Multiclassing as a spellcaster can be tricky in DND.

The Artificer has an interesting note in its Multiclassing rules: when you multiclass as an Artificer, you round your Artificer levels up for determining spell slots instead of rounding them down like every other class with Spellcasting.

In regular DnD, it is possible to sacrifice a higher level Spell Slot to gain Sorcery Point equal to the level of the Spell slot sacrificed, but may be different in the full release of Baldur's Gate 3.
